Draymond Green out of Warriors season-ending 122–101 loss With just 11 minutes to play in Game 6 against the Lakers.

The Warriors were trailing by 11 points when Green checked out. The Lakers went on an 11–0 run over the next two minutes, and Green did not stay on the field and put the game away.

With the Warriors having no answer to the Lakers' run, Myers elected to sit Green because he did not want to risk further to the heartthrob of his roster.

Now, Green, who scored nine points and grabbed nine rebounds in the Game 6 loss, enters an interesting off-season.

He can pick up his $27.6 million player option for the 2023-24 NBA season and play one more year with the Warriors. or he could opt out and any sign a new, multi-year deal Enter with Golden State or enter the open market and sign elsewhere.
