SpaceX has fired workers who helped write and distribute an open letter criticizing Chief Govt Officer Elon Musk’s habits, theon Friday, citing three workers with information of the scenario.
SpaceX President Gwynne Shotwell despatched an electronic mail saying the corporate had investigated and “terminated quite a lot of workers concerned” with the letter, the New York Occasions mentioned.
It was unclear what number of workers had been terminated, the report mentioned.
SpaceX didn’t instantly reply to a Reuters request for remark.
A gaggle of SpaceX workers derided Musk as a “distraction and embarrassment” in an inner letter to executives.
In an inventory of three calls for, the letter says “SpaceX should swiftly and explicitly separate itself from Elon’s private model.” It added: “Maintain all management equally accountable to creating SpaceX an excellent place to work for everybody” and “outline and uniformly reply to all types of unacceptable habits.”
