Social Security Administration says ‘Yellowstone’ characters top the chart of fastest-growing names for boys

According to the Social Security Administration (SSA), two of the fastest growing names for boys in the US last year were inspired by the hit show “Yellowstone.”

The SSA said that the names “Dutton” and “Kays” are ranked #1 and #2 on the list of the top five fastest growing boy names in 2022.

The agency says the SSA began compiling a list of popular baby names in 1997.

The “Yellowstone” series, created by real-life ranger Taylor Sheridan, has been hugely successful and is now a three-spin-off franchise. The show follows generations of Duttons from the early 1800s fighting to keep their ranch land in Montana.
