Saturday night Live Tonight pays tribute to Erin Maroney Fraser, who started out as Lorne Michaels’ senior assistant. Fraser died suddenly on 3 March at the age of 53. He suffered a brain hemorrhage, according to a GoFundMe page set up for his children.
Fraser played various roles snlincluding as a staff writer, and also worked for Michaels in various roles, including helping develop Late Night with Conan O’Brien, also acted in films including Wayne’s World 2 And Tommy Boy.

Fraser was most recently the executive director of the Savannah Regional Film Commission, a role he has held since early January.
She is survived by her three children and husband.
“Erin was a veteran in the entertainment production industry and was already making such a positive impact in Savannah. She had such a bright and positive energy that people were drawn to. Trip Tollison, President and CEO of the Savannah Economic Development Authority She went on to do great things here in Savannah and we are so lucky that we were able to spend time with her,” said. “We are heartbroken at the loss and offer our condolences to her husband, their three children, and their family and friends. We do.”
