PGA Betting, Odds: How To Bet Scotty Scheffler At AT&T Byron Nelson

let's cut to the chase. I'm faking Scotty Scheffler this week.

Here's a full tournament head-to-head matchup to bet on this week. They are 9-3-1 after splitting last week at the Championship.

Tyrell Hatton +190 vs Scotty Scheffler

The Englishman may have found his game again. After three top-six finishes between February and March, including a runner-up finish at the Players Championship, Hatton hit a bit of a wall with three straight sub-par performances outside the top 30, including a missed cut at the Valero Texas Open. I bet on it that week. I was there. He was cruel to look at. However, Hatton bounced back last week with a T19 at the RBC Heritage and a T3 at the Wells Fargo Championship. He gained almost six strokes with his irons in the latter tournament and nearly six strokes with his putter in both tournaments.

TPC Craig Ranch is a bentgrass greens course. Hatton's best putting surface is on bentgrass. Not only does he have the speed coming into the week, but he will now be on a surface where he will excel. Scheffler, on the other hand, has struggled to make ends meet, losing four of his last five tournaments by a stroke. He is still the best iron player and ball striker in the ground. It's that ability that helped Scheffler finish no worse than T12 in nine events this year, including two Tour wins.

I'm counting on this being a warm-up event for Scheffler. He hasn't played in about a month so he can work on any trouble spots of the PGA Championship next week. Meanwhile, Hatton has only one career win under his belt and could really be looking to roll any momentum into win number two. After playing TPC Craig Ranch twice and losing by a stroke both times, I'm betting the struggle will continue for Scheffler.
