Wicketkeeper-batter N Jagadeesan posted an apology after he reacted with an indecent gesture after his dismissal within the opening match of the Tamil Nadu Premier League (TNPL) on Thursday. Jagadeesan was Mankaded bythrough the match between Nellai Royal Kings and Chepauk Tremendous Gillies and as he walked again in anger, he rotated to indicate his center finger within the bowler’s path. He then repeated the gesture once more. On Friday, he took to Twitter to apologise for his behaviour.

“My deepest apologies to all of you for my inexcusable behaviour at yesterday’s match,” he wrote in his assertion.
