Wicketkeeper-batter N Jagadeesan posted an apology after he reacted with an indecent gesture after his dismissal within the opening match of the Tamil Nadu Premier League (TNPL) on Thursday. Jagadeesan was Mankaded by Baba Aparajith through the match between Nellai Royal Kings and Chepauk Tremendous Gillies and as he walked again in anger, he rotated to indicate his center finger within the bowler’s path. He then repeated the gesture once more. On Friday, he took to Twitter to apologise for his behaviour.

“My deepest apologies to all of you for my inexcusable behaviour at yesterday’s match,” he wrote in his assertion.
“Cricket has all the time been what I stay for – and the sportsmanship that comes together with the game is one thing I deeply respect. Which is why it is vitally laborious for me to digest how I reacted,” he added.
