Dan Wetzel and SI's Pat Ford and Ross Dellanger investigate the latest investigations that are taking place at the University of Iowa and Iowa State amid allegations of student athlete gambling.

At both the University of Iowa and Iowa State, investigators are looking into possible gambling activity involving student athletes. The boys discuss why and how this could have happened, along with explaining that gambling on sports is something you can't do when you're a student athlete. With major sportsbook exposure and legalized gambling in more states, such growth was bound to happen eventually.

West Virginia University men's coach Bob Huggins is in hot water after making insensitive comments on a radio show in Cincinnati. The longtime coach issued an apology shortly thereafter, leading to speculation as to his with the Mountaineer program.

In other college sports news, this week, Urban Meyer said the Texas Longhorns have one of the best, if not the best, pound-for-pound rosters in college football. With more emphasis on recruiting in the trenches, will the Longhorns finally live up to the hype? In addition, Clemson message boards have been active recently, with one post stating that, due to increased education levels at the university, there may be drawbacks to the football program's success. A wild speculation, really.

In transfer portal news, Michigan State quarterback Peyton Thorne has transferred to Auburn and DJ Rodman has left State to play basketball for the USC Trojans.

Finally, in weird news, here's an update on pasta dumping in New Jersey, a Utah woman writing a morbid book about her dead husband, and Bo Jackson, who can't seem to get rid of the hiccups.
