The Golden State Warriors could be without Andrew Wiggins for a crucial Game 6 against the Los Angeles Lakers on Friday.
Warriors officially list Wiggins as questionable A Thursday for the Western conference semifinal game left costal cartilage fracture, The injury usually occurs due to blunt trauma to the rib cage.
It is unclear how Wiggins arrived at the injury report. Wednesday finished with 25 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists in 36 minutes in a 121–106 win at the Chase Center, his best output this series. He averaged 16.8 points and 6 rebounds against the Lakers in the playoffs.
“It was the best game Vigs has had since he has been back for over three weeks,” Warriors coach Steve Kerr said after Game 5, “The way he attacks, the way he goes to the rim, it adds another dimension to our attack. I thought the last few games in L.A., we didn't get to the line a ton. We settled for a lot of stuff, and I thought the wigs did a really good job of being offensive.”
