Lance Reddick’s wife, Stephanie, is thanking fans who are celebrating the beloved actor following his death at age 60.
Reddick, who was known for his diverse roles john wick franchise and acclaimed series such as Wire, ounce And Lost, died on Friday, Yahoo Entertainment reported earlier. The actor’s representative, Mia Hansen, shared in a statement to Yahoo that Reddick “passed away suddenly of natural causes.”
Stephanie Reddick married the actor in 2011 and shares children Yvonne Nicole and Christopher with him in a message posted on her husband’s Instagram account, “Lance was taken from us too soon.”
“Thank you for all of your overwhelming love, support and the beautiful stories you’ve shared on these platforms over the past day,” she continued. “I see your messages and cannot begin to express how grateful I am for them.”
Stefani continues to praise “The Number of Thousands” destiny Players paying special tribute to Lance, thank you,” citing his pivotal role in the cult-favorite video game, in his photo series.
She concluded her statement by sharing that donations can be made to MOMCares, an organization serving mothers and families in Reddick’s hometown of Baltimore.
Fans and colleagues mourned in the comments on Stefani’s post. Actor Terry Crews responded with a series of heart emojis, while Ming-Na Wen called Reddick “a wonderful soul.” Halle Berry, who starred John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum with the actor, calling her “one of the most honest people I have ever met”.
