Variety of workers with over Rs 1 crore every year wage at ITC have gone up

The variety of workers at conglomerate ITC drawing a wage of over Rs 1 crore every year has gone up by 44 per cent within the recently-concluded FY2021-22 fiscal, based on the corporate’s annual report.

The overall variety of ITC workers drawing a wage aggregating Rs 8.5 lakh per 30 days or over a crore rupees per 12 months was 220 towards 153 in 2020-21, stated the most recent annual report of ITC.

“There have been 220 workers, who had been employed all year long and had been in receipt of remuneration aggregating Rs 102 lakhs or extra or had been employed for a part of the 12 months and had been in receipt of remuneration aggregating Rs 8.5 lakhs per 30 days or extra throughout the monetary 12 months ended March 31, 2022,” the annual report stated.

Whereas the gross remuneration drawn by ITC Chairman & Managing Director Sanjiv Puri in FY22 was up 5.35 per cent Rs 12.59 crore, which features a consolidated wage of Rs 2.64 crore, perquisites /different advantages of Rs 49.63 lakh and a efficiency bonus of Rs 7.52 crore.

Mr Puri’s wage was 224:1 of the Ratio of Remuneration Median Remuneration of all Workers, the annual report acknowledged.

In FY21, Mr Puri’s gross remuneration was Rs 11.95 crore.

ITC  Government Director B Sumant and R Tandon equally drew a gross remuneration of Rs 5.76 crore and Rs 5.60 crore by N Anand in FY22.

The overall variety of ITC workers as of March 31, 2022, stood at 23,829, which is 8.4 per cent decrease than the final fiscal.

This consists of 21,568 male and a couple of,261 feminine workers. Moreover, it had 25,513 workers within the aside from everlasting class.
